5+++ REVIEW: Black Lies by, Alessandra Torre

Amazon * B&N * KOBO * iTunes * Smashwords

Became a tech billionaire by his twentieth birthday. Has been in a relationship with me for 3 years.
Has proposed 4 times. Been rejected 4 times.

Cuts grass when he’s not banging housewives. Good with his hands, his mouth, and his cock. Has been pursued relentlessly by me for almost 2 years, whether he knows it or not.

Go ahead. Judge me. You have no idea what my love entails.

If you think you’ve heard this story before, trust me – you haven’t.

The last sentence of that synopsis couldn’t be more true – this is a love triangle of epic proportions. I’ve devoured everything this author has written and will continue to do so as long as she writes. Without question – without reading a blurb she’s a 1-clicker author for me. A drop what you’re doing and read her books kind of author. So when I received an email from her with an ARC attached, I dropped everything I was doing – and read until I couldn’t keep my eyes open that night – only to devour it fully the next morning. And what a ride….

I think this might be her best work yet – it’s hot-as-fuck, suspenseful, engaging and probably one of the best books I’ve read all year.

Layana Fairmont ……. she’s rich, beautiful and desperate to stand on her own two feet in a life she created for herself, and not the lifestyle her parents have bred into her. But when she meets Brant, a successful tech billionaire everything is tossed aside…. she’s afraid to end up like her mother, marry the wealthy man and live the life her parents have always dreamed for her, but with Brant – things are different…. he’s different, he make her happy, they laugh, he’s amazing in bed and she can be herself with him – regardless of the money – he is his own man.

But when she meets Lee – all hell breaks loose and Layana is on a journey of self discovery, trying to figure out why she can’t be completely satisfied with just Brant – and that Lee brings something out in her she only wished Brant could…. she’s passionate and vile – and Lee brings out some of the worst traits in Layana, traits I’m not sure she even knew existed until these two met. But she’s desperate for him and desperation can turn even the best people into something else.

Alessandra Torre has written a very different story – it’s suspenseful – hot as fuck – and loving…. when you get right down to it, it’s all about love…. well, love and lies.

I couldn’t put it down –
