Synopsis:

From #1 New York Times bestselling author Colleen Hoover, a passionate tale of friendship, betrayal, and romance—and the enchanting music that inspires one young woman to put her life back together.

At twenty-two years old, aspiring musician Sydney Blake has a great life: She’s in college, working a steady job, in love with her wonderful boyfriend, Hunter, and rooming with her good friend, Tori. But everything changes when she discovers Hunter cheating on her with Tori—and she is left trying to decide what to do next.

Sydney becomes captivated by her mysterious neighbor, Ridge Lawson. She can’t take her eyes off him or stop listening to the daily guitar playing he does out on his balcony. She can feel the harmony and vibrations in his music. And there’s something about Sydney that Ridge can’t ignore, either: He seems to have finally found his muse. When their inevitable encounter happens, they soon find themselves needing each other in more ways than one…

From the author of the New York Times bestsellers Slammed, Point of Retreat, Hopeless, This Girl, and Losing Hope, Maybe Someday is destined to become another bestseller and long-lasting fan favorite

ARC REVIEW:

Beat, beat, pause.

Contract, expand.

Inhale, exhale.

I’m on 4.5 hours of sleep right now, suffering from one of the WORST book-hangover’s of my life!

I was fortunate enough to receive an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review….

I should know by now, this being 7th book of Hoover’s I’ve read – NEVER, and I mean NEVER start one of her books right before bed, especially when you have to be up at 6am. Because I started it at 8:30pm and dragged my puffy-eyed ass out of bed around 1:30am to smoke a cigarette and reflect on the wondrous story. 20% in I was already in love with Ridge… It didn’t take long, believe me.

And now, I’ve read the book twice – because I wasn’t ready to live outside of it yet. I wanted to go back inside, and live in their world and read Ridge’s brutal honesty over and over until it was etched in my brain.

Anyone whose read a Colleen Hoover book knows three things:

1) You will laugh –

2) You will cry –

3) And you will beg for more…

And I felt all three HARD!

Sidney is a chick you’d want to hang out with – she’s funny, sweet, and has a snarky side you know you could fall in love with.

Ridge – well, he’s a musician, gorgeous – and brutally honest, almost to a fault. Which is pretty refreshing actually.

When these two come together – after the worst possible things could happen to Sidney, he’s there to show her not everything in her life has gone to shit – and they foster a friendship that will give you goosebumps, and leave you with the tingles…

I can’t properly express the love I have for this book, or the other six Colleen Hoover has written…. I’ve had a 3 day book hangover from this – and I’m still lost in the story.

I’ll write a more detailed review after the release – ENJOY!!!

“Why don’t you ever practice on your balcony like you used to?” “Why would I? You’re not out there anymore.” Oh my God, I already felt a clench in my heart with those two lines. This review made me even more excited!!! I’m so glad the release is on March 18. By that time, my exams would be over. I’m scared that if I read it before my exams, I would flunk. Haha! I also love the pictures/edits you used!

  3. I’ve in love with Colleen Hoover’s writing. She makes you laugh, cry, frustrated enough to throw your book, but then hurry over and gingerly pick it up apologizing to continue reading. 🙂 (It happens! And yes I know books are inanimate objects.) Having the chance to review this book for my book blog would be amazing!
