5 +++ HOT AS F**K Stars!

Blurb: There’s only one thing in life Lucien Knight really hates, and that’s husbands who cheat on their wives. There’s only one problem in Sophie Black’s life. Her cheating husband…From the moment Lucien & Sophie meet, the seal is set. Romantic, emotional & intensely erotic, Knight and Play is the perfect read for lovers of international bestsellers Fifty Shades & Bared To You. Let yourself be swept away by Part One of the Knight series from Kitty French, a romance so hot it’ll burn your fingers…CEO of Knight Inc. Lucien Knight is catch-your-breath gorgeous and damaged by his troubled past in Norway. All grown up and relocated to London, he’s built his empire of adult clubs from the ground up to become the gorgeous patron saint of the sex industry. No one knows the dark childhood secrets that have given Lucien a backbone of steel and a heart encased in ice. No one until Sophie Black, that is…From the moment girl-next-door Sophie accepts the job as Lucien Knight’s PA, she understands how Alice must have felt when she tumbled down the rabbit hole. Lucien takes her safe, vanilla life away and plunges her head first into a huge dish of fantasy flavours. Rich, spicy chocolate covered with dark, oozingly lickable sauce? Check. Tutti-frutti with indecently red, glistening cherries on the top? Yes please.
Lucien strips away all of Sophie’s inhibitions, and when he instructs her to select three new toys, she soon realizes he has more than a game of Monopoly on his mind… He’s opened the door to a whole new pleasure packed world without limits, and Sophie is utterly intoxicated. But how far is she willing to go? And what happens when she has to step back into reality again? Lucien & Sophie’s is a story of star crossed love and forbidden passion, a sexual odyssey that spans the globe and changes both of their lives forever. Let it change yours, too.

Where to begin! Arg! I’ve been in a semi-reading slump for a month and a half now. Even though I devour the books I’ve been waiting to come out – everything else in my Kindle hasn’t been grabbing my attention. It took me over a month to get through the Edge of Never, and almost the same withe the 3rd Bridget Jones book (which I really liked – even without Mr. Darcy.) I bought loooooads of books on the $.99 sale on Black Friday and have well over 45+ books sitting in my Kindle to read – but that’s never enough is it?

So I finish a lack-luster-freebie I’ve had for a while (ok, I didn’t finish it. it didn’t grab me and for once I just quit reading and moved on.) And figured Knight & Play is short and supposed to be really hot I’ll give it a try. BIG mistake to do at 10:00pm on a work night. Considering I was hooked from about chapter 2 and didn’t pass out until almost 2am – still only 65% through it. I was nursing quit the book hangover this morning and still relishing the scenes playing around in my head. Because Lucien Knight  is…. well he may be my new favorite. Move over Mr. Emerson, Grey and Kellen Kyle…. Lucien is far beyond your expectations of your typical rich business man. He’s kinky – but not overtly. He owns a business in the sex indisutry – toys, clubs the lot. Sophie goes to work for him as a PA and things start happening from there.

He is sex on a stick – like JESUS where the hell have I been and how did I not read this until now???? DesktopThroughout the entire book Chris Hemsworth kept popping in my head…. I couldn’t stop it – the viking god Thor? Hellloooooo yes, Mr. Knight I would be at your beacon call.

The book was sad – balls to the wall fucking hot – and not in a creepy way at all. Some books you read for smut and they come off a little too much for me, this was the perfect amount of depth, story, character and yes…. smut. Kitty French is pretty phenomenal at writing a sex scene….

Check it out! And be thankful both Book 2 and 3 are out already – because she left me with a fuck of a cliffhanger.

Book 1: Knight & Play

Book 2: Knight & Stay

Book 3: Knight and Day
