Synopsis:

When Hanna “Ziggy” Bergstrom moves to New York City for graduate school, Will Sumner thinks his responsibilities to his best friend’s nerdy little sister will be limited to the occasional dinner and check-in. Little does he know that Ziggy is ready to break out of her bookworm academic shell and move more into bombshell territory. Of course she figures the gorgeous womanizing venture capitalist Will is the best person to help mentor her in this new field of study: dating.

Will takes on the challenge with more than a healthy dose of skepticism and humor, but soon finds that Ziggy just needed a tiny push, not a world of change, to reveal a woman every man seems to notice. Soon “Ziggy” is gone and the unfiltered, innocently seductive Hanna Bergstrom is hijacking his dreams, his moods, and even his orderly no-strings-attached dating life—beginning the night his mentoring activities move between the sheets.

Well Christina & Lauren have done it again – These two manage to create something hilariously funny – yet sexy as hell. Perverted and sweet, innocent and kinky…. all wrapped up into one beautiful story of Will & Hanna. Hanna may very well be my favorite character this far in the series. She’s open – honest – and has absolutely no verbal filter. She reminds me WAY too much of myself… and I laughed through the whole book. Getting frustrated when these two couldn’t get their shit together and I found myself yelling at them to JUST TELL ONE ANOTHER and let’s get this going!

Though the group is together – Chloe & Bennett, Max & Sara – we catch a glimpse of Chloe in the midst of wedding planning hell – Sara and Max still going strong, but this story is VERY much just Will & Hanna. We get a lot of back story on how Will is close to her family, having lived with them over a summer while interning with Hanna’s father’s lab. We get a more in depth look into the mind of Mr. Will Sumner and what makes this sex god tick – and what stops him from having any remotely serious relationship…… that is of course, until Hanna comes barreling into his life and cracks his chest wide open.

There’s a bit of roll reversal here – as in most of the Beautiful Books. The girl tends to have the upper hand, leaving the men wondering WTF just happened …. and where are my balls?

Do yourself a favor and check them out – I was 75% into Beautiful Player before I went on Audible and got the audiobook as well. If there’s one thing about this series? They have incredibly sexy men…. and the narrators DO NOT disappoint. Check them out!
